Machine Washing

• Turn garments inside to help retain colour, especially for dark colours and denims.
• Separate wash loads by similar colours to maintain the garment’s original colour. 
• Use a laundry net for delicate items.
• Avoid overfilling the washing machine as this can increase friction and could potentially lead to discolouration and crease marks.
• Select a gentle wash cycle and low spin cycle to help reduce friction.
• After washing, reshape garments by gently pulling on the seams.
• If possible or if specifically stated on the care label, avoid tumble drying, instead leave to dry in a well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight.

Hand Washing

Hand wash programs on washing machines cannot replace the delicate and controllable nature of washing by hand. We always recommend washing by hand when the care label instructs.

• Turn the garment inside out to help retain colour, especially for dark colours.
• Fill a sink or tub with lukewarm water (washing in water at a maximum of 30°C will avoid damage to the fibres) and use a delicate or handwash detergent according to the manufacturer instructions.
• If washing more than one garment in the same water, separate into similar colours to maintain the garment’s original colour. 
• Disperse the detergent, submerge the garment, and gently wash it. Avoid soaking for longer than 30 minutes.
• Gently squeeze the excess water from the garment. Never wring dry.
• Drain the sink or tub, refill with lukewarm water, and gently rinse the garment to remove the detergent.

• Reshape the garment and lay to dry on a towel on a flat surface, out of direct sunlight.
• Avoid hanging knitted garments to dry as they are liable to stretching.
