INDIGO TWILL
Indigo Twill has been a signature fabric of the MHL. collection for many years. The deep indigo colour is pigment dyed onto a durable cotton twill that, when cared for correctly, will gently fade and soften with washing, giving the garment a unique, lived-in character.
The image shows a pair of MHL. Joggers - the left side is the new pair, the right side is a pair that is 7 years old and been washed many, many times.
Due to the pigment dying process, during initial wear there is a higher risk of colour transfer onto skin, and light-coloured garments and surfaces if exposed to damp or friction.
To best care for your indigo twill garment –
- When washing for the first time, turn the garment inside out and wash separately at 30°C on a gentle cycle.
- Always promptly remove the garment from the washing machine to avoid crease lines where dye can settle.
- Do not bleach, soak, tumble dry, or dry clean.
- For subsequent washes, avoid overfilling the washing machine to prevent friction, which can cause excessive dye fade and crease lines.
