Founder of Mourne Textiles, Gerd Hay-Edie designed the original weave in the1930s for prominent furniture designer Gordon Russell to use as upholstery fabric on armchairs and settees. Reworked by Mourne in softer yarns for blanket design. Made in Northern Ireland.
